anywhere from 1-3 weeks prior to the match. The home team must contact the assigned referee with any travel logistics. Game times will be assumed to be in the 1 p.m. range unless notified. We have many referees flying to matches so the sooner information goes back and forth, the better to keep costs down. If at all possible, the host team will transport a referee flying in to/from the airport. Home clubs are required to contact the assigned referees by Tuesday night of the week of the game. It is encouraged that teams/referees exchange cell phone numbers for any game day delays. Referee contact information is found in the link directly below the assignments link.
Referee assignments with contact information will be posted on the Midwest Rugby website - http://www.midwestrugbyunion.org/ (see link above).
* Coach/Team Evaluation of Referee As an educationmeasure, coaches/team representatives are asked to provide gameday feedback on their assigned referee. This feedback will be invaluable in shaping the referee landscape as far as indiviual development, and overall Midwest referee assignments. Forms can be emailed to Fred Thomas,
